Did You See - Autodesk (AutoCAD) bought Netfabb...

NetFabb Acquired By AutoCAD
Received an e-mail today from Autodesk telling me  Netfabb has been acquired by them. They may have announced it in September. I don't recall seeing anything, perhaps I was not paying attention to Autodesk, though I can say I don't read PRNewswire every day either for company news releases.

Netfabb is a really cool tool for viewing and just as importantly correcting issues with STL files. Easy, quick and intuitive to use.



This was especially appreciated as my print machine was a Windows XP machine that was not the latest specifcation.

It will be interesting to see how Autodesk intend to proceed with the products direction. Now maybe time to archive that older revision...
